Obituary
Patricia Goode
November 8, 1920 - December 4, 2020
Patricia Goode, 100, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Kingston of Ashland. She was born in Middletown, Ohio, on November 8, 1920 to the late William and Irene (Stork) Lickert.
Pat was outgoing and easily made friends everywhere she went. She previously worked part-time at Miller’s Jewelry store on the square and was also a bank teller at Farmer’s Bank and Chase Bank on Marion Avenue for many years. Pat would always say she could learn a lot about what was going on in town from her customers. She loved her customers dearly and formed personal relationships with many of them. Pat was a mom to all her sons’ friends as they grew up and was very supportive of her sons’ sporting events. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and also her great-grandchildren, who called her Grandma Pat. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren say they will always remember her by the dish of jelly beans she always kept full for them. Pat was a member of First English Lutheran Church and an active member of the former Child Guidance Club, which stayed together long after the children were grown.
Pat is survived by her sons, Jim (Linda) Goode of Mansfield and John Goode of St. Petersburg, FL; seven grandchildren, Sarah Goode, twins, David (Leslie) Goode and Lyndsay (Mark) Panzeca, Iris (Mike Thomas) Goode, Andrea Goode, Elliott (Nicole) Goode and Allen (Choon) Goode; great-grandchildren, Liana, twins, Max and Marissa, and Luca Panzeca, Josie and James Goode, twins, Liam and Cohen Goode, and Jian Goode; cousin, Robin Alder; best friend, Jo Sellers Maglott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Woody Goode, who passed on December 11, 1988; daughter-in-law, Alison Goode; and brothers, John (Mabel) Lickert and William (Betty) Lickert.
According to Pat’s wishes, private services will be held for the family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the First English Lutheran Church. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to have served the family.
