Maureen Diana Hoffman, 63, of Ashland, died Thursday September 18, 2008 at her home. Born March 14, 1945, she was the daughter of Maurice and Dorothy Yarman Farmer. An area homemaker, she was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and loved to play BINGO.
She is survived by her husband Gerald “Jerry” Hoffman of Ashland; three children, Brenda Weitzel, Jeff Hoffman Patty Keplinger, and Greg Hoffman, all of Ashland; six grandchildren, David Simmons, Darla Jessop, Heath Hoffman, Heather Weitzel, Jessica Patterson, and Jared Lotts; four great-grandchildren, Kaylan, Justin, Araiya, and Brennan; brothers Daryl Farmer, Ashland, Gary and Marianne Farmer, Elyria, and Larry Farmer, Texas; sister, Sandra and Blaine VanMeter, Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Douglas E. Magers.
