MANSFIELD: Judy A. Ball passed away Monday, January, 31, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She was 81.
She was born January 14, 1941 to parents Gale & Helen (Johnson) Livingston in Mansfield.
Judy operated her own cleaning business where many of her family members, at one point or another, would join her cleaning many local businesses.
Judy was a wonderful cook! There wasn’t much that she would make that her family didn’t like. Some of their favorites were her mashed potatoes and her pear custard bars. She enjoyed entertaining and bringing in all of her family for holiday meals. She enjoyed time with her family especially her grandchildren and bonded with them over playing video games. One of Judy’s passions was traveling! Be it a day trip somewhere or going out on a pontoon boat or taking a big trip out west she simply enjoyed traveling.
Her wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by her business partner of 38 years Laurie Stevens; daughter Jenny (Bryon) Smith; son Bill (Ellen) Ball; grandsons Justin Ball, Winston Oyster, Logan Ball and Landon Ball; great-grandsons Clayton, Kayson and Weston; brother David Livingston; sister Dorothy Haddix; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Charles Thornton, sister Sue Towles and brother Donald Thornton.
Judy’s family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring her life will begin promptly at 2 p.m. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will speak. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
