Charlot Ann Parsons, age 90 of Galion and formerly of Mansfield, passed away Sun, Nov 28, 2021 at Mill Creek Nursing Home in Galion.
She was born on April 8, 1931, in Lucas, Ohio to Howard Harrison & Catherine Louise (Crawford) Hayward and lived most of her life in the Mansfield area. Charlot was a 1949 graduate of Mansfield Senior High. She was a secretary at S.D. Stanso Co. Real Estate for 20 years retiring in 1994. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Mansfield. Charlot enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and needlepointing.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlot was preceded in death by her husband Willard Parsons in 1992—whom she married Feb 25, 1964; and her sister & brother-in-law Diane & Larry Goldsmith.
She will be laid to rest beside Willard at Mansfield Memorial Park in Ontario. Friends and family are invited to gather at the graveside for a short time of remembrance at 1:30 PM on Wed, Dec 1, 2021. Look for the green tent or ask the cemetery office for directions.
