Obituary

Mother Gloria Elizabeth Trammell Griffea, 96, passed away on May 19, 2021. Gloria was born on May 13, 1925 in Talladega, AL to Zeke and Lizzie Trammell. Mother Griffea was a member of Maddox Memorial Temple COGIC and attended church with her late husband at Jesus of Nazareth Church of God in Christ. She attended Talladega City Schools and for many years worked at Mansfield City Schools and Fusco Cleaners. She is preceeded in death by her parents and husband, Elder Givan Griffea and ten siblings. Gloria is survived by her daughters Rev. Theresa Rembert and Rayvonne (William Jr.) Brown; grandchildren, Dante Rembert, Terrance Rembert, Michael Griffea and Gwen Brown; 4 great grandchildren; special niece and caregiver Annette Favor and a host of other special nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation 10:00am and Home Going Service 11:00am Friday, May 28, 2021 at Maddox Memorial COGIC 1148 Walker Lake Rd. Pastor Aaron Williams Jr., Officiant. Interment at Mansfield Memorial Park.
