MARALYN M. FISHER, 76, DIED WEDNESDAY FEB. 12, 2003 AT MEDCENTRAL/MANSFIELD HOSPITAL AFTER A LONG ILLNESS. BY THE GRACE OF GOD, MARALYN PASSED ON TO A BETTER PLACE WEDNESDAY NIGHT. MRS. FISHER WAS BORN DECEMBER 2, 1926, IN RICHLAND COUNTY, OHIO, BEING A LIFE LONG RESIDENT. SHE WORKED AT WESTINGHOUSE FOR 10 YEARS, BEFORE WORKING FOR MECHANICS BUILDING AND LOAN, WHERE SHE RETIRED FROM, AND THEN CONTINUED TO WORK AT SNOW TRAILS FOR 20 YEARS. MARALYN ENJOYED BRIDGE CLUB WITH HER FRIENDS, WAS AN AVID CLEVELAND INDIANS FAN AND ENJOYED MUSROOM HUNTING. SHE WAS A BELOVED MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, AND SISTER.
SURVIVING ARE SON AND DAUGHTER IN LAW, THOMAS, AND LINDA FISHER OF WESTERVILLE; SIX GRANDCHILDREN, AARON, LAUREN, COLIN, BOB, AND JIMMY FISHER AND LYNN ECHOLS; STEPSON AND STEPDAUGHTER IN LAW, JIM AND MARILYN FISHER OF COLUMBUS, STEPDAUGHTER, PEGGY LOU FOGARTY OF PLAINSVILLE, GEORGIA; TWO BROTHERS, DON MOORE OF MANSFIELD, AND WILLIAM MOORE OF FT. LAUDERDALE FL., A SISTER, BETH MAYNE OF TALLAHASSEE, FL ; MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS AND FRIENDS.
SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, WILLIAM GUY AND HENRIETTA LOUISE MOORE; HER HUSBAND R. RICHARD FISHER; AND TWO GRANDCHILDREN, CHUCK FOGARTY AND KATHLEEN POOLE.
