Anthony J. Marinelli, 100, of Mansfield passed away at his home August 27, 2021 surrounded by family. Anthony was born October 13, 1920 in Mansfield to Antonio and Catherina DiDonizio Marinelli. He was a 1938 graduate of St. Peter's High school and a lifelong member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Anthony was a member of the United States Army during World War II and then worked at Tappan for over 35 years. He was a member of the VFW and was an avid golfer who loved the Buckeyes and Browns; but his true love was his family. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Orga Marinelli; children Sharon Milner, John (Amy) Marinelli, Marijean (Nathan) Wilson, Annette (Matthew) Holmes; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Jean & Mary Marinelli; brothers Robert, Frank and John Marinelli. Private family services and burial will be held.
