MRS. MAURINE S. HOCKETT, 66, 1165 LAURELWOOD RD., DIED UNEXPECTEDLY AT HER HOME SATURDAY MORNING, SHORTLY AFTER BECOMING ILL.
MRS. HOCKETT WAS BORN JULY 21, 1902 IN ELWOOD, IND., AND HAD LIVED IN MANSFIELD SINCE 1925.
SHE WAS A MEMBER OF MAIN STREET UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, WSWS, THE UNITED COUNCIL OF EASTERN STAR OF WHICH SHE WAS PAST WORTHY MATRON, AND PAST GRAND REPRESENTATIVE OF ONTARIO, THE ORDER OF THE WHITE SHRINE OF JERUSALEM, REBEKAH, YWCA, AND WOMENS AUXILARY OF MANSFIELD COMMANDARY NO. 21, KNIGHTS TEMPLAR.
SURVIVING BESIDES HER HUSBAND T. LEONARD HOCKETT, ARE ONE SON, CHARLES M. HOCKETT, THREE DAUGHTERS,MRS. JOSEPH SUBICK, MRS. JAMES SCHERRER, AND MRS G. E. BURHOLDER.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY AT 2PM AT THE MAIN STREET UNITED METHODIST CHURCH BY HER PLASTOR REV. COBURN C. VANDERSALL. BURIAL WILL BE IN THE MANSFIELD MEMORIAL PARK.
