Obituary
Marcia Ann Brandel was received into the eternally loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2021 while in the care of Lexington Court Nursing Center in Lexington, Ohio.
Ann was born February 11, 1942, in Jefferson City, TN, the daughter of Mike and Delia (Concil) Fitzsimmons.
She is survived by her husband, Peter John Brandel, whom she married on September 15, 1960; her three daughters, Mary Brandel of Columbus, OH, Emily Brandel of Jacksonville, FL, and Delia Brandel-McCubbin (Jim) of Dublin, OH; and her two grandchildren, David McCubbin and Mark McCubbin.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; and one son, Peter Jude Brandel on December 14, 2012, who resided in Silver Spring, MD.
Ann dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse and a mother. She loved the Lord Jesus, and her life was a testament to this. As a woman of strong Christian values, she diligently taught her children the Scriptures and the importance of spiritual disciplines. She did not hesitate to share her faith with anyone around her, as she was not ashamed of God. She prayed daily for her family and her grandchildren before they were ever born.
Psalms 91 was her favorite Scripture, which she read to her children every morning before they went out the door. She will be remembered lovingly by her sense of humor, generosity, her tenacious hold on conservative values and her love of God, family and country.
Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, assisted the family with the arrangements.
