Delida Gertrude Griffitts, age 88 of Mansfield Ohio passed away on July 16, 2023 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield following a brief illness. On January 20, 1935 she was born in Van, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Larry and Allie (Rowe) Tate. On July 23, 1953 she married Clyde William Griffitts at the home of a friend and together they shared 52 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Delida enjoyed cooking and reading.
She is survived by daughters, Carla and (Randy) Ford and Penny Griffitts; son, Coby (Pixie) Griffitts; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde William Griffitts and grandson, Braden Coby Griffitts.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Crystal Care Center of Mansfield and Pathways Hospice for the loving care they provided Delida.
