Lois J. (Rittenhouse) Ewing
Mansfield - Lois J. (Rittenhouse) Ewing, 77, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
Lois was born on December 10, 1943, in Waverly, Ohio, to Homer and Minnie A. (Fairchild) Rittenhouse. She loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of Zions Refuge Baptist Church. Lois loved her family and enjoyed playing cards with them. She volunteered at MAP, (Missions to Amish People). She also enjoyed baking cookies and in her younger years, she enjoyed quilting. Lois was married for 46 years to her husband, Marion "Dick" Ewing, and he preceded her in death on September 1, 2016.
She is survived by her children, Tom (Suzi) Maiyer, Sherry (James) Hall, Connie (Doug) Boliantz, and Todd (Teresa) Hudson; grandchildren, Joshua, Erica, Jesse, Caleb, Zach, Matthew, Adam, Jason, Emily, Sabra, Shane, Ashley, Amanda, and Toryn; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Ellis (Connie) Rittenhouse, Dale (Carol) Rittenhouse, Lucille "Lou" Coleman, and Sheila (Dennis) Herron; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, Dick, Lois was preceded in death by her parents; son, Troy Hudson; and grandchildren, Jessica Boliantz and Jillian Hall.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021, at Zions Refuge Baptist Church, 1400 Lucas Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44903. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Dave Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park, Ontario.
