Margaret Louise Mawer, 97, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at The Laurels of Hilliard Nursing Home. She was born in Crestline, Ohio on March 6, 1923 to the late Jay and Vivian (Davis) Newton.
Peg retired from working as Clerk of Courts at Ridgeway County Courthouse. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mansfield, Ohio.
Peg is survived by her grandson, Allen (Barcy) Cordrey; granddaughter, Connie (Aaron) Hall; two great-grandsons, Connor and Jacob Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Mawer; daughter, Sandra Cordrey; son-in-law, Paul Cordrey; and brother, Robert Newton.
No services will be held at this time. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to have served the family.
