WESTON, FL: Catina "Katherine" R. Alacca, 80, of Weston, Florida, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at home after a lengthy illness.
Katherine was born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 27, 1928 to Luigi and Alda Letizia. She married Samuel A. Alacca who preceded her in death on January 10, 1975.
She is survived by her son, Anthony F. Alacca of Weston, Florida.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Sara Morelli, Thomasine Kampf, Mary Hergatt, Angeline Nucifora; and two brothers, Thomas and Conrad Letizia.
