MRS. VELMA I. THOMPSON, OF W LONGVIEW AVE., DIED IN MANSFIELD GENERAL HOSPITAL AFTER AN EXTENDED ILLNESS.
MRS. THOMPSON, A FORMER PROOFREADER AT THE NEWS JOURNAL AND GALION INQUIRER, WAS A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF MANSFIELD AREA. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MANSFIELD BAPTIST TEMPLE.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE HER HUSBAND, JOSEPH; A DAUGHTER, REBECCA FLEGAL, TWO STEP SONS, WAYNE AND RANDY THOMPSON, A SISTER AND A BROTHER.
CALLING HOURS ARE TOMORROW FROM 2-4PM AND 7-9PM AT SNYDER FUNERAL HOME. BURIAL WILL BE IN MANSFIELD MEMORIAL PARK.
