PHYLLIS JEAN SMITH, 68, OF ONTARIO, PASSED AWAY FRIDAY EVENING AT KOBACKER HOUSE IN COLUMBUS, OHIO. SHE WAS BORN APRIL 5, 1947 IN BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN, TO THE LATE ALEX KING AND AUDREY M. RUSSELL SPARKS. PHYLLIS WORKED AS AN LPN AT PPG FOR SEVERAL YEARS, BUT RETIRED IN THE EARLY 1990's. HER FAMILY WAS ALWAYS HER FIRST PRIORITY AND SHE LOVED EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM DEARLY. PHYLLIS LOVINGLY MADE DELICIOUS MEALS FOE THE FAMILY AND LOVED DECORATING HER HOME TO PERFECTION. SHE ENJOYED TENDING TO HER ROSES IN HER FREE TIME.
PHYLLIS IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND OF 49 YEARS, ROGER SMITH; TWO DAUGHTERS, TERRIE CAPRA OF ONTARIONAND TAMMY WENTZ OF SHELBY; THREE GRANDCHILDREN , KRISTY CAMPBELL, TYLER CAPRA AND COLE WENTZ; THREE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN , CHASE, CARTER AND CODY CAMPBELL; MOTHER IN LAW FRANCES SMITH OF MANSFIELD; BRONTER IN LAW LAWRENCE SMITH A ND MANY NEICES AND NEPHEWS.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 7-9 TUESDAY, AUGUST 18, 2015, IN THE ONTARIO HOME OF WAPPNER FUNERAL DIRECTORS.
