Eva Corinne Wilson, age 88 and resident of Vandalia Ohio, passed away peacefully at Miami Valley Hospital in the early morning hours of January 22nd, 2023. Born in Morehead Kentucky in 1934 to Libby and Joseph Wilson, she was the youngest of 7 siblings (Edward Wilson, Elmer Wilson, Edna White, Esther Phillips, Margaret Cline, and Edith Black). The family moved to Lexington, Ohio while she was young where she graduated High School in 1952. From there, she began a career with the Ohio Air National Guard, later transitioning to work for the Defense Dept. in Columbus Ohio where she worked a long and rewarding career until her retirement in 1995. A longtime resident of Worthington Ohio, Corinne, as many fondly called her, had one son, Michael, in 1970. She was a loving and devoted mother who found great joy in every aspect of motherhood, creating a lasting legacy of kindness and devotion with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Michael, and his fiancée Susanne. Her remains were donated to Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine, a selfless act that will further advancement in the medical field. Memorial services will be held online through forevermissed.com for friends and family to visit and celebrate her life.
