Helen Anderson
Helen Anderson, passed away on Monday Dec 7, 2020, at the age of 93, in her home in Sonoma CA.
She was a touring concert pianist, a professional singer, a music teacher, a church organist, a minister's wife, a leader in many organizations, and most recently an author. She had the amazing ability to make deep and lasting friendships with almost everyone she met. She had an upbeat forward looking focus that kept her vibrant and engaged in life, including insisting on voting in the last election.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Bertil Anderson, the former pastor of First English Lutheran Church in Mansfield. She is survived by two sons, David and Jesse, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A collection of her stories and musings are in her book, "Helen's Opus 1", available on Amazon.
A memorial service will be scheduled when it is safe for everyone to travel and get together.
