Sheila A McGuire
July 23, 1956 ~ October 23, 2019 (age 63)
Sheila A. (Tackett) McGuire, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

Sheila was born on July 23, 1956, in Cincinnati, to Jack and Ruth (Mullins) Tackett.

Sheila’s infectious laughter personified her joy for life. She could find humor in any situation and loved nothing more than sharing a good meal with her family and friends. As an active member of Mansfield Alliance Church, Sheila enjoyed participating in outings with the ladies’ group and volunteering at community events. She will be remembered for her generous, fun-loving spirit and the deep love and pride she felt for her children.

She is survived by her husband, Brent McGuire; two children, Troy (Heather) McGuire of MD, and Allison McGuire of Washington DC; three grandchildren, Ainsley, Delaney and Ian McGuire; and one brother, Ruey (Kim) Tackett of Mansfield.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the funeral home with Pastor Bradley Edmonson officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park.
