Mansfield: Brenda was a no nonsense cut to the chase kind of lady. She was very easy to get along with even if she was a little shy, but she loved adventure! That said, above all else she centered her life on Christ and raising her kids to center their life on Christ also.
Brenda Sue (Wilging) Locke was called to her heavenly home Saturday, January 22, 2022 in OhioHealth Mansfield. She was 67.
She was born January 31, 1954 to parents Stanley & Ginger (Brownfield) Wilging in Mansfield. Brenda graduated from Mansfield Christian School as one of the 19 students with the very first graduating class of 1972.
Brenda worked as a radiation coordinator at OhioHealth Mansfield working there for the majority of her career. Even though the name of the workplace changed 3 times, she was a constant through it all. She also enjoyed working part time out at Snow Trails.
Brenda loved her motorcycles! She enjoyed taking trips on her bike and feeling the air hit her face. She took trips to Sturgis as well as Daytona and really anywhere she could go, this made her happy. When she wasn’t on her bike she was taking care of her birds, cats or her plants. Brenda also enjoyed being on the beach and just being outside in general.
She is survived by; Son Chris Locke (Amber) with grandchildren Cora, Clara, and Liam; Shannon (Josh) Lykins with grandchildren Taylinn, Caleb and Danni and great granddaughter Raegyn; sisters Taylor (Tom) Lombardo, Lee Ann Wilging Starkey (Stephen O’Hara); multiple nieces and nephews Nathan Paff, Jolene Sarno, Emily Paff and Amanda Doyle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda’s family will receive friends Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring her life will begin immediately at 11 a.m. Pastor Ken Morgan will speak. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
