Helen M. (Leicy) Jaynes, 86, of Crestline passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born on July 7, 1932 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Isaac and Gladys (Burdette) Leicy. Helen was an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing, crocheting afghans and pot holders, and puzzle books. She was a caregiver for most of her life.
She is survived by her son, Bob Leicy and Cindy Tilton; her grandchildren, Abby Norris, Carl Leicy, Randy Leicy, and Nina Rose; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Helen Waisley; nieces and nephews, Sharon Bowden, Cindi Mahon, Chuck Leicy, and Sara Williams; 6 great nieces and 5 great nephews; 8 great-great nieces and 9 great-great nephews; and her 3 dogs. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rebekah Leicy; brothers, Harold and Clarence Leicy; and sisters, Pearl Lucille Leicy and Dorothy Hoch.
There will be no services held for Helen at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Helen M. Jaynes.
