Obituary
Robert Dalenberg died Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Country Meadow Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bellville, Ohio. After four years with Alzheimer’s, he gave up the fight. He was 76 years old.
Bob had worked at PPG Industries in Crestline, Ohio, for 39 years and retired in 2011. He married Donna Mong on September 8, 1973. He loved to fish, swim, travel and socialize in his spare time. When younger, he played basketball for Ontario High School, the USAF, and the PPG team. Bob was in the US Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War and later completed four years of National Guard duty. He loved his country and his family.
He leaves behind to grieve his absence his wife of 51 years, Donna Dalenberg; two sons, Chad (Tabby) and Doug; eight grandchildren; sister, Kathy; and numerous nieces and nephews. We all loved him and will dearly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles and David.
A graveside service conducted by Pastor Chad Berry will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Avenue West, Ontario, Ohio, on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
