Delee Annette Beal Obituary
MANSFIELD: Delee Annette Beal, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She was 85.
She was born on September 3, 1939 in Bellville, Ohio to parents Charles and Maxine (Hamilton) Hart. After graduating from Bellville High School in 1957 she went on to obtain her cosmetology license.
On July 29, 1961 Delee married the love of her life, Gus Beal, in Butler, Ohio. Together the couple shared 35 years together until his passing in 1996, now they are reunited again.
Delee was a longtime member of McElroy Road Church of Christ, where she worked as the church secretary for the last 25 years. As a woman of Faith, she cherished her church family and the many years of fellowship they enjoyed together.
She was a very talented cake decorator, creating beautiful cakes for many years- including the wedding cakes for all of her children. Above all else though, Delee’s priority in life was her family, and she would do anything for them. Time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was precious in her eyes.
Delee is survived by her loving children Wesley (Lissie Henderson) Beal, Nannette (Steve) Clark, and Anita (Ron) Weiss, grandchildren Joshua (Sarah) Clark, Matthew (Abi) Clark, Wesley (Kyla) Weiss, and Jonathan (Amanda) Clark, as well as 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gus Beal and brother Glenn Hart.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10 am to noon at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Bellville Chapel, where a funeral service will begin immediately after. Burial to follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions can be made to Avita Home Health & Hospice, 1220 N. Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833.
Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to serve Delee’s family and encourage you to share a fond memory or message of condolence on her obituary page at www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com.
