Obituary
Rita Faye Stuller, age 74, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. She was born on January 18, 1949, in Winfield, West Virginia, the daughter of Donald Shelton and Mary Jean (Hodges) Sovine. Rita was a 1966 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and worked as store manager of the Licking and Knox Goodwill Industries before retiring in 2014.
Rita was an active member of Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed attending car shows and auctions with her late husband Ralph Stuller. Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Shane Vernon of Lexington, William (Emily) Vernon of East Jordan, Michigan, and Eppie (Jon) Mills of Lake Tapps, Washington, nine grandchildren, Cameron (Rachel), Allana, Hunter and Graham Mills, Eli, Noah, and Isaiah Vernon, Sera and Tyne Vernon, two great grandchildren, Roland Mills, Maizie Mills, two brothers, Sam Sovine, Dan Sovine, four sisters, Connie Tuggle, Karen Johnson, Bonnie Normant, Pamela Young, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, special friends, Sue Richards, Cherie Garverick, and Ralph Betty Linkous.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Stuller and two brothers, James Dwight and Edward Leon Sovine.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, beginning at 3 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 8764 Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rita’s name may be made to Faith Baptist Church or Interchurch of Knox County.
