Born to Orval Jay and Grace Belle (Goodwin) Bemiller July 28, 1928 in Bellville, OH. Carl passed away Saturday July 13, 1996, at home after a short illness.
He was married to Evelyn Dorothy Holzworth on June 28, 1952, by Pastor John Ginsell at St Paul Lutheran Church in Mansfield,Ohio.
Mr, Bemiller retired from United Telephone/Sprint after 30 years of service and was a former employee at the Mansfield Police Department and the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
A Navy veteran of the World War II, he was a former Weller Township Trustee.
He was a member of St Paul's Luthern Church, AMVETS, Independent Telephone Pioneers Association and International Electrical Association 688 and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 16.
Children: Debra Ann Elizabeth Bemiller Robertson, Kansas City North, Missouri, Diane Bemiller and Dale Bemiller of Mansfield and Scott Bemiller of Toledo. Eight grandchildren and spouses: Tara (Greg) Rhodus Kansas City, MO, Kevin (Chelsea) Robertson Kansas City, MO , Charissa (Kyle) Mallery Overland Park, KS, Bryan (Angela) Robertson Kansas City, MO, Nicole (Jeff) Bookman of Mansfield, Amanda (Evan) King of Stilwell, KS, Adam and Zach Bemiller of Overland, KS. 15 great-grandchildren: Sydney and Adrienne Browning, Scott and Lily Robertson, Rylee and Tyler Mallery, Emily, Kailey, Brooklyn Robertson, Kaiya and Mara Bookman, Lily and Abigail King, Brayden and Hunter Bemiller.
Survived by sister Valeta Miller, Ontario, OH, sister-in-law Mrs. Richard (Betty) Bemiller and brothers Larry (Sue) Bemiller NC. and Orval Jr (Betty) Ontario, OH.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Bemiller and Nephew Richard Bemiller Jr. and twin brothers.
Calling hours are today from 6 to 9pm at the Ontario Home Wappner Funeral Directors and also a half hour before funeral services, which will be held Wednesday at 10:30am at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Phil Kunder. Military graveside services will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park.
