Obituary
Mary Catherine Stickney, 92, of Mansfield, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
Born on August 8, 1930 in Crestline, Ohio, Mary was the daughter of John and Vergie (Blossom) Keith. Mary was a 1948 graduate of Lexington High School. A woman of faith, Mary lived her life striving to be honest and following her convictions as a Christian. She attended Victory Baptist Church. She always looked for the good and was accepting of everyone. Mary never met a stranger and loved to talk. She found laughter to be necessary in life, and even if others didn’t find her jokes funny she certainly did.
She is survived by her children, Rosemary Baker, Michael (Brenda) Stickney, Debra (Steven) Mosher, and Dennis Stickney; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Phillis Olar and Sally.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stickney; her son, Steven Stickney; and her son-in-law, Ed Baker.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Victory Baptist Church, 939 W. Cook Rd. Luncheon will follow after the service at the church. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
