Obituary
Arthur E. Pamer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully early on February 5, 2025. He was 91. He was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Peter and Cora (Love) Pamer.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maryjane (Park) Pamer and cherished sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Bill Hill.
Arthur is survived by his four children: Brian (Lori Torgusen-deceased) Pamer, Barry (Nancy Taylor) Pamer, Brindi (George) Hellinger, and Barbra (Eric) Gilbert; his cherished grandchildren, Georgia Hellinger, Jennifer Hellinger, Hannah Gilbert, Lilly Gilbert, Gracie Rose L.-Gilbert, Jessie Torgusen; and great-grandchild, Finley Bauman; as well as his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arthur was a proud graduate of Akron University. Arthur enjoyed a long and successful career at the LM Berry Co, where he was repeatedly recognized as one of the company’s top salesmen before his retirement. After retiring, Arthur spent his winters in Florida and instead of being idle he continued working as a cast member in the Tomorrowland Park at Disney, where he found great joy in meeting new people and making friends.
Arthur had a passion for boating and golf, and in his later years, watching sports and the Game Show Channel on TV. He loved God and his family. His sharp wit and love for life will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
“Fore Ahoy,” Arthur. You will always be in our hearts.
Per his wishes, there will be no memorial or calling hours. He will be quietly laid to rest next to his wife at Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
