Ashland: Carol Jean Maduri of Ashland, Ohio passed away on November 3, 2022 at Kingston of Ashland following and extended illness. She was 88. She was born on August 17, 1934 in Mansfield, Ohio to parents Levi J. and Doris Lucille (Moon) Henry.
Strong in her faith Carol was a member of various churches here in the Mansfield area as well as in Port Richey, Florida, where she resided for several years before returning to Mansfield. Having numerous skills, Carol worked numerous jobs as a caregiver and at Mrs. B’s Health Food after she became interested in battling her own health problems. She enjoyed square dancing, listening, and watching Christian music and broadcasts, and spending time with her beloved black schnauzer Inky. Above all else though, her proudest achievement was knowing Christ as her savior and knowing her Heavenly home awaited her.
Carol is survived by her children Robert (Lynette) Keiser, Robyn Purl, and Cheryl Keiser, grandson Scott Keiser, siblings Eileen, John, and Phyllis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sisters, her first husband Robert E. Keiser, and second husband Albert Maduri.
The Maduri family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am in the Marion Avenue Chapel where a funeral service will begin immediately after at 11 am. Burial to follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Tom Russell will officiate.
