Obituary
David A. Adkins, age 52, resident of Plymouth left this life for his eternal home in Heaven and into the loving arms of his mother on Tuesday May 21, 2019.
He was born May 10, 1967 in Huntington, West Virginia to Bobby G. and Joy (Wright) Adkins Dial and had been a Plymouth area resident the majority of his life.
David was employed as a roofer and carpenter in the construction industry for many years. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed traveling with his dogs Regan, SmokeyJo and Emmett. He will be fondly remembered for having a big heart and his great, funny personality. His family was of utmost importance to him.
He is survived by his siblings Tresia (Mike) Courts of Huntington, W. VA.; Linda Hess of Largo, FL.; Bobby G. (Pam) Adkins of Coxs Creek, KY.; Johnny Dials of Plymouth; Terri (Eric) Risner of Geneva, OH; and Foster Dials of Plymouth, OH.; his step father John Dials of Plymouth,whom he considered his father; his longtime life companion Martha Palmison of Plymouth; many nieces and nephews with whom he had a special individual relationship; and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by one brother Tommy Dials and one niece Joy Holland.
Private family funeral services will be held at a later date. Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
