Obituary
Mary Katherine (Albro) Snider, 96, fell asleep in death on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at her residence. Born February 4, 1927 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Frank and Clemence May (Muth) Albro.
She married Howard Snider on January 12, 1946. They had five children and Mary enjoyed raising them, working in her flower and vegetable gardens and crocheting ~ having crocheted over 50 afghans for family and friends. She also enjoyed talking about the Bible and Kingdom Hope. She was a member of the South Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness for over 60 years.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Lois) Snider of Bellville; her daughters, Judith Snider and Debra Chase (Jeff Hazen) both of Mansfield and Mari Jo (Charles) Hite of California; her grandchildren, Robert (Krista) Snider, Brandy (John) Watson both of Mansfield, Alicia (David) Dechart of Lexington and Joseph Napoli of California; her great grandchildren, Allene and Wyatt Watson, Hayleigh Tucker, Jayden McClain and special great granddaughters, Katie Snider and Brielle Napoli; two sisters, Shirley McClain and Helen McClellan; and two brothers, John and James Albro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Snider; her daughter, Sandra Snider; her granddaughter, Cassie Snider; and her sister, Alice Maglott.
Per Mary’s wishes, private graveside services at Mansfield Memorial Park will be held for the family. Memorial contributions may be made to SouthernCare Hospice.
