LOUDONVILLE: Luella Mae Robinson Wrhel passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in McMullen Assisted Care surrounded by her family. She was 91.

She was born on December 30, 1930, to parents Oscar & Marquerite (Shoewalter) George in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Luella graduated from Mt. Gilead High School with the class of 1948, and married Harold Robinson in February of 1955. The pair were married for 31 years until his passing in 1987.

Luella was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Loudonville, and took pleasure in puzzles, playing cards, and gardening.

She is survived by her son Neal (Debbie) Robinson; grandchildren Scott (Jamie) Robinson, Dan (Kayla) Robinson, and Jessica (Rich) Hoover; great grandchildren Megan, Erika, Brooke, and Lauryn Robinson, Blake, Drew, and Lexi Robinson, Gannon and Grady Hoover; and her sister-in-law Margie George.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Robinson; her second husband Hugh Wrhel; her brothers Earl and Franklin George; and her sister Mary Jane Cavinee.

Luella’s family will receive friends Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville. A graveside service will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park, Ontario, Ohio at 11:45 a.m. with Pastor John Temple officiating.

Contributions in Luella’s memory to McMullen Assisted Care Activities Fund or Gentiva Hospice (formally Kindred) may be made at the funeral home.
