Eula “Jean” (Dickerson) Foster, 79, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
Jean was born on September 18, 1941, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to Bill and Alma (Mosier) Dickerson. She was a member of Paradise Freewill Baptist Church, and enjoyed being around her family and children, especially her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She enjoyed going to garage sales and crocheting, and she loved dogs.
She is survived by her brothers, Jack (Jane) Dickerson of South Shore, Kentucky, Ken (Carolyn) Dickerson of Prospect, and Danny (Bonnie) Dickerson of Mansfield; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her caregiver, Rene Cole; and best friends, Reithie Pelfrey and Sonie Porter.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Foster.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Pelfrey officiating. Burial will be at Mansfield Memorial Park.
