Obituary
ONTARIO: Ronald Edward Brewer, 80, of Ontario, Ohio passed away on February 11, 2022 following a brief battle with cancer.

Ron, as he was known to most, was born on April 20, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Edward and Margaret Brewer, and was raised in Butler, Ohio along with his four sisters and two brothers. Ron graduated from Butler High School in 1959, and after being honorably discharged from the Army Reserve National guard, spent the majority of his life in the Mansfield/Ontario area.

On September 27, 1969, Ron married his wife of 52 years, Gayle Sharon Endo of Middlefield, Ohio with whom he raised two sons, Scott and Matt, both graduates of Ontario High School. Ron and his wife regularly attended Mansfield Baptist Temple for over 10-years.

Ron spent most of his career in sales serving a variety of industries; he enjoyed frequenting local restaurants, watching local high school sports, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his wife, Gayle Brewer of Ontario; son, Scott Brewer and his family - Kristin, Will, and David - of Upper Arlington; son, Matt Brewer and his family - Megan, Josh, and Allison - of Hudson; brother Denis L. Brewer of Findlay; sisters Marlene (Brewer) Heffelfinger of Conneaut, and Margie (Brewer) Sparks of Perrysville.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret; brother George; and sisters Trudy Tackett and Wilma Heffelfinger.

A private graveside service will be held for Ron at Mansfield Memorial Park.
