Betty Rochowiak, 74, of Swanton, Ohio passed away December 31, 2019 surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Betty was born August 24, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio to Helen (Albro) McClellan and the late Ralph McClellan.
Betty is survived by her mother: Helen McClellan; children: Tom (Mylee) Geldien, Tim (Karin) Geldien, Julie Jones; stepchildren: Terry (Sarah) Rochowiak, Todd Rochowiak, Toni (David) Hall; grandchildren: Thomas Geldien,Taylor Geldien, Kaydee Geldien, Destinee (Joe) Divish, Prestin Geldien; great grandchildren: Easton Hummel, Deklan Divish; brother Bill (Linda) McClellan; sisters: Doris Pletcher, Rose (Chuck) Martin, Nancy (Rob) Flowers, Ruth (Doy) LeCroy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and stepfamily.
Betty was preceded in death by her father Ralph McClellan, husband: Leon “Rocky” Rochowiak, and sons: John Geldien and Bobby Geldien.
Betty’s favorite past time was working in her garden and flower beds. You couldn’t keep her out of the yard. She was always baking for her family and neighbors and everyone will miss her treats. Betty loved Koala Bears, Eagles, and Angels. Betty was loved by everyone, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were extremely important to her. She enjoyed all the time she was able to spend with her family. Betty will be greatly missed by everyone.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of Betty’s Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple Street, Liberty Center, Ohio.
Memorial Contributions in Betty’s honor may be gifted to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
