George Jeftinich, 90, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born August 30, 1930, in Maple Heights, Ohio.
He retired from Therm-O-Disc where he worked in the maintenance department. George was a veteran of the Air National Guard and was honorably discharged as a Technical Sergeant. He was a member of the Sons of Herman and T.O.D. Sportman’s Club. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, electronics and tinkering. He also enjoyed a lively game of Euchre.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; loving companion, Pauline Theaker; and many special friends who were like family members whom he loved as his own children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Kathryn (Andrank) Jeftinich; wife, Shirley Jeftinich; and three sisters, Elizabeth DiMaglio, Helen Ennis and Violet Passallo.
A graveside service will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
